Biographies


Peggy O’Toole is a first-time author thrilled to share her imagination with the world and inspire women through storytelling to be radiant in their feminine power, so they can be loud and proud, and spread kindness, light, and truth to those around them. She is happily retired from her first career, working over 40 years in the management of clinical laboratories. In that time, she wrote multiple articles that were published in laboratory periodicals and spoke at laboratory conventions on a variety of topics. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and a Masters Degree in Clinical Science. Peggy held licenses in California as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and Bioanalyst.  She is currently living in Los Angeles California with her two terriers after the recent loss of her beloved third husband.  She spends as much time as possible with her two grown children and their families, including four grandkids. Peggy is a world traveler who loves adventure, and has scuba dived, skydived, and visited Antarctica. Recently, at age 75, she learned how to do aerial work and spin fire fans. She takes bellydance and burlesque classes and plays D&D. Peggy sees her life as delicious, herself as unstoppable, and calls herself the Grandma Moses of storytelling

Marci Darling is an author, speaker, travel writer and teacher. She is the author of four bestselling books, one of which reached #1 on Amazon. She has a Masters Degree from Harvard, a BA from UCLA, and a certificate in Novel Writing from Stanford. In addition to her writing career, Marci spent a decade working around the world as a professional belly danger, gogo dancer, and circus acrobat, including dancing on tour with the Go-Gos, B-52s, and Paul McCartney. She recently became a “judge” when she judged the Stella Shouting Contest for the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival in New Orleans. She lives in a cottage by the sea in New England, with two hooligan dogs, one cat, and an Ewok in disguise as a cat.
